What’s keeping you committed to your company despite the many challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have always had many startup ideas for a long time. In 2012, I wanted to pursue this idea of a smart kitchen fast food restaurant. I tried to file the patent but I couldn’t at that time. The main reason for this is because my career is very broken and I was always busy looking for a job. Only if I was employed continuously at least for a few years, at least a couple of years in every team that hired me, I could have worked on my startup ideas. I had to look after my young son and find a job and this made me postpone and even give up on my dreams, only temporarily.
Now, I have gained a lot of experiences both personally as well as professionally. My son is a teen now and he can help with the start up too. He is a hard worker and good at STEM. I believe all the challenges that I have faced all these years and my hard work and experiences have made me stronger and more empathetic and wiser. I have been dreaming and dreaming and postponing my dreams for a long time. But now I have decided, there's no time to wait, not even a minute, I am here to dedicate my life to this startup.
What drives you to solve this problem instead of taking the "easy road out" when building this business gets tough? When life hits you hard from multiple directions, what do you do to overcome adversity?
My life has never been easy. "Easy road out" has never been my option. I have been hired 14 or 15 times and I have been fired at least 10 times.I have been learning everyday and trying everyday. Working on my dream startup and seeing my dream come true is only going to encourage me more and more each day to try harder and harder, with a smile and a happy heart.
I want to work towards my dream, building Bubbles & Cafe smart kitchen restaurant successfully and seeing happy customers. This opportunity is a blessing and I would work hard everyday for this.
Why are you the right founder(s) to solve this problem? What personal duty do you feel you have in striving to change the world with your idea?
Not only that I have always wanted to work on my dream ideas but even much before that, from my childhood, I have never understood the reasons for the unfairness in the world. Why do people suffer? - This has been one question I have been asking occasionally all my life. I want to help even if it is only a tiny bit. I want to give back to the community and the world.
